Overall responsibilities include; quoting, process improvement, productivity and quality improvements for Manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will be proficient at the following tasks:
Consulting with clients, customers, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates
Confer with customer purchasing, engineering, and sub-contractors on details of quotes.
Prepare all proper documentation.
Prepare quote forms to submit customer pricing.
Prepare estimates for use.
Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data.
3 years experience in Manufacturing Cost Estimating.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong computer skills.
Analytical thought process and effective communication skills.
